I am reading today that Italy may not have enough evidence to suspend Basso in the Puerto affair. UCI will probably appeal to CAS if that happens.
 
There are also rumors that Basso is done at CSC.
 
Assuming Basso walks free, my hunch is Basso will end up at Discovery.
 
Armstrong and Basso were friendly. Postal tried to sign Basso before he signed with CSC. Discovery has signed Leipheimer and Paulinho but has lost lots of riders. Am I missing some signings? Check out all the budget money Discovery has floating around with the loss of Savoldelli, Beltran, Azevedo, Hoste, Hammond and Joachim.
